I've been to a lot of hibachi places across the US. This is not one I would recommend at all. Not only did they mess up our check 3 times, but food that was ordered didn't arrive until very late in the meal, and another entirely different order was being prepared for me that I never ordered as well. Overall? The food quality wasn't great, or a standout either. The grill that we were seated at with our group had a ton of grease build up around the edge, the hood vent above was covered in grease as well. Chairs have almost no padding, the AC didn't work in the room we were in, and our chef had zero energy. He didn't even check to confirm the orders with people and just started the motions with only asking how people wanted their steak. You can tell that, at one point, it was a nice place but now it's mostly empty and a shadow of it's former self. I would vote, avoid. Which is sad, Western TX/Permian Basin really doesn't have many options of this kind of stuff.

Although this place is not as fancy as the similar modern places, it is clean, the service is good, the food is always delicious, & they put on a good show. I like the prices here much better than the modern ones.. especially for lunch. My favorite is the hibachi chicken, but my son loves the steak & shrimp. I love to experience the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I also frequently get food "to go" from here when I am dining alone. ❤️

I have been frequenting this place for 16 years and the quality has not changed. It's the best hibachi in town. I have gone to every new place that opens to see if they can top Tokyo and nobody has come close. It may not be the fanciest but it is the best tasting and I love this place.

Alrighty where do I start? So me and my father walked in. There was a wait but not many people there. Then we got in and sat for 50 mins till a chef came out. My father sat in his chair and there was food grease in it and stained the back of his shorts. Then on the bottom of the table there was like a goop substance falling on his legs the whole time. And then something from the ceiling dropped which stained his shirt.(as u can tell he hated it)Then the food came out and I could’ve expected better but it’s decent. Then there was only three people working not including the chef. But the workers r laid back and sweet.

Probably the absolute worst hibachi I have ever had. The rice and meat was very bland. Our chef did absolutely nothing with the prep and cook besides set of a flame. I am pretty sure once our food was completed he went into the back room and committed ritual Seppuku and judging from the cleanness of the establishment it was likely done with a dirty knife. The waitress was very rude, brought out the check while barely beginning our "meal" and then came back not 5 minutes later asking for it.
